Pair of 1858’s 44 cal. One is a Pietta and other is A.S.M. I have never used Pietta. Shot 5 rds through ASM 5 years ago. Pietta appears to have never been used. Pietta grips are wood and ASM molded grips. One thing I feel needs describing is the Pietta hammer pull seems harder vs. ASM. I used trigger gage on hammer and ASM is about 7-8 lbs. The Pietta is several north of that. I understand this is normal for Pietta to have strong main spring but wanted to be clear. I have been doing much soul searching about price, especially in todays climate. I feel $440.00 for pair is fair. And I will ship to any of a 48 friendly. Thank You.
