Looking at a saddle ring carbine . Looks original and need a second opinion. It has been refinished finish is a gloss, not sure with what product. Barrel void of bluing . Asking price is $1500 . Is this a fair number? Best i could find was a two year old post for an excellent condition at $2500.

Check the markings. This look like it’s been very refinished. That will cut the value down considerably. Look it over carefully, if the markings are cleaned off it is probably are reproduction that has been altered. Gun Finnish looks too clean, just check it out carefully, just from the picture I would not pay that much without verification of authenticity.
Good luck

The barrel looked like someone used scotchbrite on it showing dark spots like it was rust. The stock shows nicks and dents with little attempt to remove them. The finish looked like it was several coats of clear coat paint. You could see it was on not in the wood.
It is rifled . Muzzle looked ok, i didn't have a bore light to check any deeper. If i go back i will bring my own.
It does have the bar just not the ring on side opposite the lock.
Thinking of a $1,000 counter offer . Indian repo are not rifled so I don’t think it is one. Just looking for a value.

Without seeing much better images, taken horizontally, please, it's not possible to determine whether or not this is a frawk.

It’s possible that this is one of the guns that had been issued to the British army in India, many were put in a warehouse and sat for 100+ years. The 1885 stamp fits with this.

Ok i bought it paid $1400.
