No, but I've seen one shot.
It was cute, you could almost see the bullet flyin.
You certainly could see the little spiral trail of smoke follow the bullet path as it dropped.
I think at 25yrds you'd have to hold about 3 feet high.
They are a neat little novelty

I was interested in the "magnum" version, but I'm not sure it would be a very effective small game pistol. I've been thinking maybe a Uberti Pocket Police/Navy might be better. It could even be effective on larger stuff too.

It seems it might not be as fun to load as you have to take it apart. It would have been better had they used a typical loading lever system.

I also think they should have called it an "1858" or something.

I saw a .31 caliber Colt reworked to shoot .22 suppository thingys. Relined barrel and cylinder. Neat little thing. Guy made two of em.

Many Klatch

I have had two of the Super Cap & Ball revolvers.
They were as new.
They were very unreliable to fire #10 caps, and demanded numerous recapping to get to fire.
I thought the first one ( which did not fire reliably) was just a glich, so bought another. Same problem.
I would not encourage the effort to purchase one.
Not to mention, you couldn't hit a 45 gal. barrel, even if you were in it.
Save your money! Get a sling shot.

I have a uberti colt 1849 31 cal. And an north american arms 22 lr mag bp and an peietta rem 31 they all work very well for trapping I have dispatched coyotes coon possums cats fox wild dogs beaver with them. They all have minimal damage and are very fun 10 yard guns !!!! Not long distance riffles. The north american arms suggests you don't take it apart and that is very sound advise. I have to send mine in because I didn't head said advise and I can tell you from exsperiance that once you remove the single screw they employde !!! I still can't find all the parts !!! The colt is my favorite because it handles fowling very well !!!! But the rem has an extra cylinder that I can change quickly !!!
Good luck !!!
