1860 Army barrel??

I just purchased a 1974 Armi San paolo/Euroarms 1860 Army and want to get another barrel for it. Does anyone know if the barrel from an Uberti or Pietta will work on it? Thanks

Tried my Uberti and Pietta barrels on my ASP and was no go.

I would bet on the Uberti rather than the Pietta, but you must understand that it won't be a drop-in fit.

Fitting required.

Just to be nosey, what's wrong with the barrel that's on it.

Not a thing, but i don't want to cut 3"-4" off it. I want the other barrel to shorten.

Think you would be money and headache relieved to just purchase a newer revolver with barrel length you want.

Agree, if you can find one. Or put out some feelers around the different forums, someone may have one for your make of revolver.
