A fine reproduction of the Civil War musket. Stock is one piece and very nice. Has been hunted with and handled -- I shot it a bit. Has been thoroughly cleaned after each use and I taught it to shoot round ball as I got older and the recoil got rougher. Open heart surgery now precludes hunting and shooting, so here she is. The wooden case is home made and functional, but not furniture quality. Rifle comes with fiberglass loading rod, 2 #11 nipples, and 2 standard musket nipples, and the sling. I had epoxied a higher sight behind the standard issue sight and removed it. It's in the package with the nipples. There is still some epoxy residue on the barrel behind the front sight. Bore should be perfect. Hate to part with it, but time marches on. $1000 shipped to your door.
