Hello everyone, I was gifted this pistol sometime ago but never really found out any information on it except for that it is probably an Ottoman pistol made in the 19th century but I am not really sure. I would be glad if someone can give me more information on it. Also although I would never sell it since it was gifted to me I am curious about the value of such pistols.

It’s a later made “ tourist “ gun, made for sale as a souvenir. Not meant to shoot. The “ lock” probably can’t spark . These are in demand for decoration though . I can guarantee it was made in Turkey, or somewhere in the Middle East! They don’t have much value I’m afraid.

Welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately, I agree with Post #2 above. In this case, it looks like it was made in the 1970's or later. There are many similar.
As a reference, here is two typical originals. They are often called Kubur (horse) pistols. Originals were made in the thousands in the many small gun shops in the Balkans. And used extensively throughout much of the Ottoman Empire from the late 18th through the Third Quarter of the 19th Century.
