Reduced This is a really fine 20 bore Club Butt Fowler. It is built in what I understand to be the classic Dutch style. It has a 48” part round part octagon barrel with “Wedding Band” at the point of transition. It is finished in the white, with a few minor spots of discoloration typical to this. The bore is bright and excellent. If this piece has been fired it was fired very little. The top flat is neatly maker-marked in script “L Cruise”. I believe this is well known Nebraska gun builder Larry Cruise. The barrel is one by Ed Rayl. The walnut full stock remains in nearexcellent condition showing some scattered tiny dings along the undersideforend and a few other light handling marks along the sides of the butt. It features deep comb flutes, heavy brass buttplate. The rifle is sighted with aheart-shaped brass blade front sight and simple square notch rear. The Ketland style Chambers lock is crisp. The overall length is 63 5/8” with a LOP of 14”. A really beautiful fowler in a unique style. $1800 + Shipping.
