I just wanted to share with you all that there will be a School of the Ranger at Fort Frederick, MD 25-27 January 2013.
The 2013 School of the Ranger will be held at historical Fort Frederick, MD from 1 pm on Friday, 25 January to 12 pm on Sunday, 27 January 2013.
The School of the Ranger is the only annual school co-sponsored by Jaeger's Battalion and the Friends of Fort Frederick available to teach you ranging skills for your 18th century Ranger persona. The School's instructors are experts in their subject matter and are sure to help you improve your skills and impression for the campaign trail.
You must Preregister before 18 Jan 2013 to attend!
Cost: $48.00 for registrations postmarked from 1 Sep to 1 Dec 2012, or $58.00 from 2 Dec 2012 to 18 Jan 2013, at which time registration is closed.
Cost includes all classes plus Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast meals. Saturday night dinner is Pot Luck with meat and bread provided by the FOFF, so bring your favorite side dish or desert to complement the meal.
Barracks space is limited to the first 30 registrants, so register early to ensure your place! All others must sleep in their own tent.
