How about.. I'll throw this out there.

I don't remember who or where I saw this.

You can color any regular flashlight lens with a sharpie color marker.

I like to see walking in... it's I think a better light done that way over buying one with the colored led.

You use a good bright flashlight though.. like 800 1000 candles.

Most those lights you buy hunting are green too..

Red is a much better color to do that with.

I don't know what's the law..

Allot of hunting areas here. Say.

Dusk to dawn... sunrise to sunset.

Mostly people go in early in the dark and post. But that's not dawn it's dark.

If you wait and don't load don't shoot you know. Then your OK the warden I've not seen a problem.

I walked out an hour late in Maine. It took an hour in the dark to walk I posted till sunset and then unloaded. Also I had forgotten my flashlight and was using a cell phone. It gets dark there.

They were all why you hunting at night when i came out. But when they seen I locked it with the trigger lock. They were OK. So that was a close one I think. I usually don't lock it but I had a feeling that it was late.

Since then. I have not gone out in the dark to post. And I've been walking out to get to the truck at sunset.

So I'm not hunting the best times kinda.

I've also seen people shoot in the dark at deer controls hunt..

The game wardens run out there like crazy..

If there's more than one shot they pull everyone who was out there.

If there's just one shot. I dint know how but they ran out right to them like there was cameras on them or somtin.

I've had gone on that hunt a few years there.

That's just another thing that keeps me out during the dark.

I wonder if it's so easy for them as to just use a drones..

That would explain allot.

I've wondered how did they know this one person with everyone of there just shot

Or the coyote they told everyone do not shot coyote. With everyone out there. How did they know exactly who did it. they ran strait to them. They ran past us.. then they were walking out with the guy.

I have to add. Like

I was with a group in a place where you can no push deer etc..

Everyone was let's go..

One guy asked what do I say if the game warden shows up.. so they all had somtin to say about what there doing not doing.

The guy said I'm sorry I can't do these things. I'm not a good lie I get scared and I'm just going to be saying I'm sorry I'm guilty.

So I was like yea yea that's what going to happen. then we're all busted and none is are probably even going to see a deer..

I did feel the exactly same way that guy did.

What if the game warden asks me why I'm barking in the woods with 4 people..

Or if I was posted with everyone and the have warden just asks. How do u know them....

I'd be standing there scared and not knowing what to say.

The funniest of all..

With the old guys.. one of them was with the Game warden. All he needed to know was that he was with us and had permission private property.

The guy was saying I know them I have permission.

They assume he was doing somtin did something maybe and the guy said they didn't know him... lol

So he got arrested almost.. they drove him up to the house and the lady said he was part of the group..

So everyone gets in from hunting and he's sitting there like I don't know you you don't know me I know you we all know eachother. Why does know one know me.

The guy who said they don't know him.. he says..
I don't know if you do something I don't know you. this warden asks me who I know..

Like when I was a kid my grandfather asked me what I wanted to be..

I did want to be a warden. Ever since one check my fishing license from a horse.

I told him a game warden so that I can bust him and everyone. he said I was a son of a. And laufed.

I'd quite my job tomorrow and do it for min wage..

I still want to be a Warden.. always have.

I've personally seen so much BS from todays Blame Commission , I make an all out effort to keep my distance from them.

I had a friend that was the same.

He wanted to be a cop.

He went from auxiliary to he's a cop..

Yes he ran around knowing everything from school to onto the street and back again.. he was out for everyone.

I was younge.

One day my grandfather was telling me all fish and game violations he did..

He told me if I tell them I did this. They will come and arrest me..

I said ok.

So he typed type writer wrote some letter and made me mail it. Said it was up to me.

Warden showed up..

It was about 2 ways to become a warden.

I didn't do the school.

I did not join the military..

I really don't Remerber much more.

Definitely agree I've met maybe 2'or 3 doing their job, being cautious. Dealt with several that were not. So I avoid them as much as possible.

I have evidence in my area. It's not a big deal and I'll pass I think but be very careful...

I think there "one and done". If you know what it is or not.

I dont know who. If there smart there never coming back. If they do I haven't decided if I'm ok with it..
