I just bought a 1998 CVA Hunterbolt 54 cal. It uses musket caps. It shoots just fine, although, I want to put a scope on it. Should I convert it to 209, or just leave it alone until I have problems with it.

Swamp Rat is correct, but I will treat this as a sidelock response. IMHO, if you need more cap than a standard #11 cap, there is something wrong with the flash channel or the cleaning of the gun and cruds and oils are clogging the gun. I have never had trouble with a #11 cap, if you do, look for another condition that is preventing the gun from firing properly.
