DaveK, FYI...have some 1/2" lubed Circle Fly cushions wads on their way...going to slice them in half with a razor blade and try them as 1/4" wads like you suggested.
Hoping they'll put a little more lube in the bore to see if I can shoot trap/skeet/doves without wiping between shots...shouldn't make an appreciable pattern difference from an Oxyoke wad but I'll paper check it to be sure.
Got one of those belted game pouch items that has a fairly large double pouch on each side in the front...had a shoe shop sew a couple of smaller 4" x 6" GI canvas pouches inside the main pocket on the right side...one for OP wads, the other for OS cards...and the larger pockets themselves for the paper powder & shot carriers I made.
Was lucky to get an invite to a Saturday/Monday Labor Day weekend dove shoot on a big farm that holds them every year...the only thing better to wish for is that its cloudy and overcast both days to block the hot sun :grin:
