Whall fellers, ya mist it a'gin. We had 'er, the second annual flintlock inline shoot. Saturday night, behind the blockhouse, Friendship IN. Probably 40 shooters and as many spectators. Only this year it was a might tougher. Inline hung at 75yds with a compound bow next to it. Black plastic stock on the inline this time. When ya chunked 'er, ya still couldn't see it too well.
I took 10 shots at the both of 'em and on the last shot, I cut the line that was holdin' the barrel and the metal whatchamacallit of the bow. (That's what we's a shootin' at in the end, ta see who could cut the line.) Down they came and the fun was over.
The proceeds of this 'en is goin' to buy a tree for the Primitive range. I think we got 160+ dollars donation at $1 a shot. The prizes were a half-assed trophy (had the back end of a horse on it) for the biggest chunk of the inline, a old camp stool for the biggest chunk of the bow, a pair of Higgy's underwear, a genuine serrated McDonalds knife (which I got for cuttin' the string) and somethin' else stupid. Can't remember what it was, it was so dumb :youcrazy:
A good time was had by all, AGAIN. :applause:
