I was wanitng to know if the 2nd model Dragoon came/had a rear sight? I think some did? Were could I get one of these type of sights?

Seems like I saw a folding 3rd model sight in Dixie's catalog a few years back........Dont know if it would be correct on a 2nd model.......A dovetail would of course need to be cut.....................Bob

I haven't seen any in a while with speacially replicas of the 3rd Dragoon with folding site on the barrel. It was the 3rd model that Colt put them on, but from what I have read there were 1st and 2nd, and 3rd models with transitions. So as long as it was made in the same year most anything would seem to go as far as transition Model Dragoons. It would work for me.
Try this site I think it's the one I read that in. http://blackpowderonline.com/Goonsart0801.htm

Dixie used to indeed sell 3rd model Dragoon revolvers with rear bladed sights. These are patterened after some real Colt's Dragoons, 3rd models, that came with detachable butt stocks. The sights with two different blades were designed to compensate for the different ball impact with a gun fitted with a stock.

Saw this one on Auction Arms... ASM Military 3rd Dragoon... (#7592359 auctionarms)
