3-4 May Kings Mountain SC Evolution of the Rifle with focus on Ferguson's Rifle

Greetings all

In case anyone is in the area and has some interest in the topic. Ricky Roberts and I do an annual lecture and demos at Kings Mountain National Park 3 & 4 May 2008 on the "Evolution of the rifle with a focus on Patrick Ferguson's Ordanance Rifle". We will have formal lecture in the lecture hall, informal lecture in camp, as well as several firing demos, including recreating Patrick Fergusons demo of his rifle (less the targets) from Woolrich.

No they are not generally willing to travel to the Carolinas.

My I ask what time your are starting? Also are there going to be other demos there that day ?

We haven't gotten a firm schedule from the NPS yet, but normally we do firing demos at approximately 11, 2:00,and 3:00 formal lecture in the hall inside is normally about 1-1:30. And of course we are going to be camping over at the site, so we will be having informal lecture on a variety of topics in camp. And we have been know to keep talking to special guests longer or with greater detail for folks with greater interest.
