This is what I use. I use 3F powder in it all the time. It works great.

I had the other kind in which the spout/nozzle was spring-loaded. In other words, you would press it against the pan and the powder would flow out into the pan.

After a while the device got fouled up and didn't work very well at dispensing the powder.

Now a word about the flask that I am recommending. Take a look at the photo below. Look to the right of the image and notice the little screw in the head.

This little screw retains the shuttle valve. If the screw backs out and falls completely out, the spring will pull the shuttle valve out of the head of the flask. Then you will have a heck of a time finding the little screw. Don't ask me how I know this.

I have this flask and several other Treso flasks with this type head.

Here is the preventive fix. With a jeweler's screw driver, back the screw out a few threads. Then apply a small drop of blue LocTite on the threads. Turn the screw back into place and wipe away the excess LocTite. You should not have to worry about this screw ever backing out. I've done that with all the flasks and haven't had a problem since then.

Once again, I highly recommend this flask.

Mine is my main horn with a slight variation..., ;)

I have a Pedersoli flintlock Kentucky pistol, and find that the tip of my powder horns are too large to get inside the small opening of the pan and the base of the frizzen. My plunger style primer works tolerably well, but I'm sure there's a better alternative out there.

Dave,
I use the same primer flask when doing live fire.

When I load blanks from a paper cartridge a d prime from the cartridge, I pour way too much powder into the pan, but the Bess doesn't seem to mind.

For small caliber colts a small two ounce with a fifteen grain spout. Makes an exalent primer that fits in the palm.
i shoot pyrodex in one of my guns and put it to work on double duty. Charge the gun under my pyrodex load and to prime the pan.
Track of the wolf, Jedidiah Star or log cabin and others Cary them.
Turkey foot traders has some mince one of a kind salt horns about two ounce sized

A little preventive LocTite is often called for and a very good thing.

I've also discovered the virtues of Vibra-Tite. Where I think Loctite might be too much and if I have to unscrew something on occasion the Vibra-Tite can't be beat. I'm not sure about any muzzle-loading applications but use it on some un-mentionable items.

Nevertheless, there are smarter people than me on this forum that might be able to think of some muzzleloader applications.
