I just bought an RMC 50 cal. flintlock and they offer a .32 caliber barrel for the gun. It is 1/48" twist. I would like to try this out for small game. Will the twist shoot patched round balls good? What weight ball is a 32? Can't find any 32 cal stuff on a google search yet. It comes in 24" and 28" barrel lenghts. I am leaning toward the 24" because the 28" is really heavy. 32 users please chime in.

Great little caliber. Try 20-30 gr of FFF. Where did you pick that rifle up at? Any more?

I have a 32 cal.with a 1in 48 twist and it is a tack driver at 30 yrds. I shoot 22gr. of pyrodex P and a PRB. :winking: Rocky

I have a .32 pedersoli flinter. Fun and cheap to shoot. Got a squirrel with it in the fall. What a rush for me. My Father couldn't believe I could hit a squirrel with a flintlock.

I use 30 gr of powder. That is the highest that all the places I read recommended. I would like to try smaller loads but have no place to shoot much.

I also have the pedersoli frontier .32 longrifle flinter. It is great fun...and I also shoot 30gr of FF powder.

GOOD LUCK and goo hunting
