Was at a gun shop today and they had a bag of what looked like RB for 36.Guy at the shop didn't have a dial caliper to check.Paid $4 for 285 RB's.Got them home and they mic at .375.I currently use .350 with a .015 patch. Can I still use them or will they varry too much from the ones I normally use?

I am not sure what size a Goodein 38cal barrel takes, but it may be .375.

Humm :hmm: Lets see, .350 ball plus .015 patch equals .370 (going across, you add the patch twice). Ball size = .375 means bare ball is .005 oversize. Of course using a good steel rod and a 4 pound hammer, you could get a "ball" down there but what kind of pressure would you build up? I'd sell them to someone using a .36 revolver and stick with your .350s.

If you cast your own projectiles, you could always melt them down and recast them to the proper size

OO buck is .330 and with a heavy patch, mine mike .017 work pretty well in my .35 H&A buggy rifle. I've also got a .330 mold, but haven't cast any, yet! :winking:
Those with real .36 caliber bores say 000 buck work pretty good. :hmm:

:nono:
Double check your math.

.350 + .015 + .015 = .380 (.015 patch on each side of ball)
