If anybody has been looking for something like this, there single-barrel 4 bore percussion gun for sale in UK on Gunstar:
E.M. Reilly & Co fowling piece 4 Bore/gauge Muzzleloader- Gunstar
The gentleman selling it says it has no serial number and "E.M. Reilly & Co." on the hammers. There is not a lot of detail in the ad but he is responsive to messages.
"E.M. Reilly & Co.," began to be used post April 1859. With no SN it was probably made in Birmingham and thus Reilly engraved and retailed it. The price is £800. No certificate needed. 12 lbs plus....41" barrel - which has been cold-blued. Sell says it is so heavy it's hard to carry, maybe a punt gun?
Richard, the owner further commented that the stock will need work...it'd be a project gun but it is a 4 bore. Can be Fedex'ed to the USA...no certificate needed in UK.
