I have two (2) 40# boxes of grinding wheel centers for sale. These tested at 7-9 BHN using the pencil test. What are they? A grindig wheel center is a ring of soft lead that is placed into a mold then the abrasive suury is poured around it. The mold is "baked" for a period of time to solidify the slurry and, "Voila!", you have a vitrified grinding wheel! A vitrified wheel is what you are using on your bench grinder, and not all vitrified wheels have lead centers, but many do! This is a lifetime's collection of centers, ignore the bars of solder in the photo, the centers are the circular rings in the yellow bucket. $55.00 per 40# box, shipped, or both boxes for $100, shipped.
