Ugh...I've been looking all over for a .45 cal percussion Kentucky pistol kit to match my rifle, but all I can find are .50s. Any folks have an idea for a good source. This is begining to get kinda frustrating.

I think Traditions makes one in .45. It's about the only one I know of though. You might check Dixie Gunworks also. They have several different brands, some of which I'm not familiar.

contact Muzzleloader Builders Supply.
They have some very nice kits
:hatsoff:

Track of the Wolf has some very nice parts sets. Jim Chambers at flintlocks.com has the queen of Kentucky Pistol kits. They have a swamped barrel but are a lot higher in price.

That's a 13 inch swamped barrel , and it's available in .45cal . I am building a Chambers Kentucky pistol kit with the .45 cal. barrel (mine is a Getz 1:25 twist) and I'm very pleased with the quality of the kit .

Dixie Gun Works offers the Pedersoli Kentucky pistol in both .45 and .50 cal. Their Traditions Kentucky is in .50 cal. only.
