Just got a .49 barrel and would like to cast .480 balls but I can not find a mold for that size. Sure would like to try cast as well as Hornandy balls in it. :hmm:

Lyman used to make a mould for the .480 years ago but has been discontinued for some time now. to get one today you would have to go to Rapine or some other manufacturer who will still made custom moulds (for a price).

I still have one of Lyman's .485RB moulds if you would like me to make up some balls and ship them to you to try.

The Possible Shop has them all ready made. Their link is at the tpo of the page here. They do not have the mold.

try dixie gun works. I think they still offer thier inexpensive moulds custom made to any size.

Jeff Tanner in the UK makes excellent molds in any diameter at a very good price and with outstanding service. I think he shipped my .648 before I even had the money order in the mail - it was certainly before he recieved it.
