What do y'all guys use, a .490 or a .495? If a .495 is considered a "target ball" does that mean that it is no good for hunting? Or, is a .495 better for hunting since it is more accurate? If a target ball is better, what is a .490 good for?

Thanks

eigher or can be use as eigher or.....it depends on what patch thickness and what size ball works best in your rifle....do ya know what i'm saying :v .............bob

Yea I understand. So I should try all kinds of patch and ball combinations until I find my guns favorite flavor huh?

ya got it  ....that's what so much fun bout these rock lockers is trying to fig out what it likes to eat and spit fire :v ...........bob

I use a .495 with .012 patch. any thicker patch and it's too slow to load. above 70 grs. 3F the patch blows and accuracy drops.
