As I bought other guns and thinned the TC guns I owned I kept this one for one reason- it shot bughole groups with round balls. It’s the most accurate roundball gun I have shot. YMMV. It’s been hanging on my rack since I refinished the stock. I redid the stock by sanding it down, then wet sanding with min wax antique oil finish then hand buffing to a ultra smooth finish. The stock is fresh with no handling marks. Note pics as sanding has reshaped some areas. The bore is excellent. A cotton patch runs perfectly down it. Not able to get bore pics at the moment but will do so if not sold prior. Metal finish is very good for age. A few imperfections show in pics including where the rear sight was. Has the old school tall hammer. It currently has fiber optic front. I will include new in package TC front bead and new from the hawken shop rear sight. Also included is a new in pkg sling mounting kit.
I shot 70gr 777 fff with 490 round balls and .15 patch. I’ll include some of each if buyer wants. No experience with conicals or real black in this gun. Pics tell the rest of the story.

Great rifle. If she does in fact shoot RB well, its a real keeper for someone. I had one in .54 and in .50 the .54 was a RB shooter and the .50 was a conical shooter. Darn good hunting rifles.

It most likely will not last too long on here.

'I think that's the nicest that TC ever looked/congrats Ed

Forgot n had to go measure…27” including breech plug

26” plus breech plug 27”
Yes indeed. Same as an unmentionable I recently picked up for my son. Manufacturer listed the barrel as at certain length. When I measured it with the breech plug is was longer. Breech plug is not included in barrel length by manufacturer.

This rifle will make someone an excellent choice. It would be very difficult to find another one in that good of condition. If I had the funds I would buy it.
