Only the 54cal Hawken barrel is 1 inch. The 45 & 50 cal are 15/16ths.

Just measured. 1" . I think it started as a .54 but was re-barreled with a .50 cal. Green Mountain barrel with 1in 24" twist.

If you want to change the caliber of your existing barrel call Bobby Hoyt It has to be less money to chage the caliber and get the rifling twist -you need. Bob will make good suggestions. Worth a try call early or late and let phone keep ringing. Bob Hoyt -717-642-6696, he's in Pa.

Yes but, the question was about Hawken barrels.

I believe the tc hawken was available with the 58 barrels also. Might have been a special order item, or from TC custom shop in NH.

The TC 1-inch barrels are a 30 second swap from a renegade/hawken

The 58cal Hawken is so rare as to hardly be worth mentioning because most people don't even know they exist. I've seen exactly one in person and one of my cyber-friends from California posted pix of his on Graybeards when someone disputed their existence.

Is the Green Mountain barrel that came on your gun in good shape? And is it full length or carbine length?

Okay, thanks. I was tryin' to think up a possible trade. Good luck to ya neighbor.
