Few years ago my goal was to take a deer with a traditional muzzle loader, so I did some reading, bought this muzzle loader, tinkered with patches, balls and powder loads, developed a great relationship and have since taken several deer with it.

Entered a new stage of life, getting ready to retire, sold our house, bought a fifth wheel and a Dodge Truck and will it the road in a few weeks. My hunting days are over, no freezer for meat and quite frankly, we will be staying where it's warm, so I am needing to sell this ML.

Is a great Shooter, not sure who made the stock, but it has a set trigger, Green Mountain Barrel, Buck Horn Sight and is a great shooter. I think I paid 600 when I bought it. Same condition now except the barrel rod had to be replaced so it is not the original wood one.
There is a slight crack that is pictured, but has never been a problem and I just realized he second pin is not in place on the pictures....is in place now just had not put it in after I cleaned it.

I will also include all the accessories I have gathered over the years. Is a great weapon, never misfired and has hit and I recovered every deer I pulled the triggers on. I would like to get 425 dollars, seems fair, but I have no need to keep it....plus I have to watch weight and space.

Picking it up would be best, not sure what it would cost to ship all this, but I can. As I said would like to get 425, but there is some wiggle room, especially if you're a young or beginning hunter looking to expand your challenges.

Now to see if I can figure out how to post this picture.....can e-mail additional pictures upon request.....fingers crossed.

Please do not ship the black powder, unless you know how to do that legally. 99.9% of the people, do not know what they need to do to be in compliance with the the USDOT haz mat regs.

Well I feel stupid......never really looked at the barrel, just used the terminology I remembered from when I bought it.....thankfully I was asked if it was a Green River or a Green Mountain......so I went out and got the barrel, put on some glasses to read the fine print and it is neither......it is a Sharon Barrel.

I won't knock the guy who sold it to me, he may have honestly told me it was along the lines of a Green Mountain barrel. My apologies to all who have inquired and my thanks as well for motivating me to check the barrel.

Have looked at how I can modify the for sale add and have not figured it out. Could a moderator please change it or should I just delete (if I figure out how) the whole thing and start over.

Again my apologies to all.

2paws got in touch with of me and asked me to change the title of this ad so I did. The Sharon Barrel used to read Green Mountain.

Sharon has a reputation for making excellent barrels so if anyone was bidding on a Green Mountain barreled gun and they get the gun they shouldn't be at all disappointed to learn that it is actually a Sharon barrel.
