For sale is my 54 table rifle I made 2 years ago. Barrel is a Rice Match quality, 1 1/8” straight, 36” long. Perfect bore, square groove rifling, less than 100 shots. There is a Chambers White Lightning liner installed. Hasn’t been drilled larger. Goes off great. The lock is a “Dale Johnson” by Chambers. Very fast and lots of sparks. The trigger is a single, unset, that has been tuned to work crisp and light. “Faster than a double set trigger because of less mechanical movement.“ 13 1/2” pull.
Stock is sugar maple with nice curl. Sliding patchbox. Some carving. Brass furniture. self made sights. Total weight of 12# 10 ounces is legal for Table Matches.
I won the Indiana State Table Rifle Match the first time I used this gun in competition, with a 2.1” string on a windy day. Haven’t had the time to get to do more table matches as they are all too far from where I live, so I thought I’d give someone else the chance to use a rifle capable of winning any match it is entered in. My load was 60 grains Swiss 2F with a .535 ball and .021 Teflon patch. Probably could even be improved with load work. $1500
