Due to some unfortunate financial circumstances I am selling my Lancaster flintlock. This rifle was masterfully built for me by Lee Wise from new Paris Ohio. The rifle features a 42” colrain straight barrel with round bottom rifling. It also has a chambers deluxe siler lock. White lightening touch hole liner and aged brass hardware. The metal was blued and slightly aged as well. The wood is an attractive piece of maple that has some curl in it. I had him stain it dark.. the whole rifle has been very very well executed. There was a worm hole in the stock, he filled it in and stained it accordingly, I tried to show this in one of the photos. It weighs in at 8lbs according to my scales. I’ve never shot this, but I’ve sparked the frizzen a few times…. It sparks amazing! It also shoulders very well, the muzzle doesn’t seem heavy to me at all and it balances well.
I want 1700$ for it and I’ll take care of shipping or a make a reasonable offer.
Thanks
