Looked at Pedersoli as well as Sitting Fox and now trying to make up my mind between Muzzleloader Builders Supply offerings. Does anyone know appreciable differences between the French or English Dragoons? Which would a mountain man or fur trapper have been more likely to have carried if he could have chosen either ? With the 1812 problems would he have prefered the French for old times sake. Just thinking aloud. Both appear to be same money neighborhood. Rifled barrell available on both as I understand Website.
