This is an older percussion .54 kit made by Investarms for Cabela's. It is offered as found in estate storage where it has been for many years and thought it best to list it here first before GB and all those fees and taxes. I do not know the twist but looks very slow possibly 1:60. The lock and double set triggers seem to work as they should and the barrel is nicely rifled and appears unfired. Some storage wear but this is unfinished. The stock has the escutcheons and fore end cap already installed but needs final finish. All parts found with are as shown and included. There's a coat of oil on stock but needs to be final sanded and fitted when parts are properly attached. Price here is $390 and includes shipping and tracking to your door. Is the barrel 1” or 15/16” ATF?

Looks a lot like an old T/C. Did Investarms make early T/Cs? I'm ignorant in the pedigrees of these early kits...

Some parts look the exactly the same. Will keep this here 3 days more and move it to GB if no interest. I wish i could finish it myself but old age is calling. If someone here does get it would like to see finished pics.

Well it’s on the TODO list…. But the crates been opened and inspected. Still have a couple of Kibler’s todo too.

Barrel/tang still in white. Under rib factory blued. Lock is color casehardened.

Why doesn't anybody make color casehardened barrels? Or maybe someone does and I don't know about it.

Seen a couple but think its a chemical process and not very durable. Actual heat type casehardening may be not good for barrel strength.
