I recently picked up a rifle at a garage sale. It's a half stock Hawkin with a 54 cal barrel. Has Sharon Rifle Barrel on barrel. Does anyone know anything about these ? Looks to be good quality and in excellent condition. Did I get something worthwhile ? Haven't shot it yet and will post some pics later. Thanks

Definitely has a great barrel, if it was taken care of.

These were high quality guns. Small features depart a bit from original S Hawken rifles but they were close. Not sure you can do a lot better.
