Try Tanner molds. That is where i got my .550 mold.
Also try Marty's Arms. He makes them in all sizes. I own 4 of his. Very well designed and made. Good luck.
I got a .550 round ball mould from Moose Moulds. Not cheap, but it's a nice mould and .550 is one of their standard sizes in single or double cavity configuration.

I am looking at his .550 mold
It is a gang mold that throws 5 balls at a go and at $120 a pop, I really wish Lee made a .550 or .545 mold
I have only used Lyman and Lee Molds and the closest to a gang mold is one I have that throws a conical and a round ball for my .50's
Any pointers on the use of a larger gang mold?

Keep the lead hot, use a big dipper, and pour as fast as you can open & close the mould.
@B P Maniac Shooter did a good video on using a Lee gang mould. Maybe he will see this and provide a link to it.

They are real easy to use. Keep your lead hot 690°-720°F and if you do not have bottom spout furnace just pore one hole at a time until the gang mold is filled up. If you are referring to the Marty's Arms gang mold you will not regret buying one as they are excellent. Again I own 4 of them. Prices have gone up as they were 100.00 each but everyone is having issues getting raw aluminum right now and factories and resellers are jacking prices up on people. I am glad I bought mine when I did. They are worth the money.

You go through lead quick with a gang mould so have things ready and add lead often as you go or you'll run out and have to start the process over.
Yep...I never allow the pot to go lower than 1/2" from the bottom. Less chance for foreign objects to enter.
I keep plenty of spare lead nearby.
I don't bottom pour but the sooner you ad lead to keep the level up, the less temp difference you get when you add.
Yes...I usually have to wait 2-3 minutes if I allow it to get low and add too much lead at one time. Therefore, I'm usually adding some after 75-100 pours to keep the pot at least 1/2 full at all times.
SO no different than a regular mold. Keep your lead level at a proper amount, the mold hot, pour with quick purpose and confidence.
A little harder to keep the mould hot but shouldn't be a problem for a experienced caster. I keep my lead a little hotter. I did finally try what was suggested. When starting out, just fill the first one or two cavitied, then as the mould heats up, fill another, and keep doing that until you get them all casting good.
As your lead is heating up lay the gang mold across the top of the melting pot so it will heat up. Same thing applies to bismuth/tin alloy for non toxic round balls. You will get the hang of it pretty quick. Good Shooting!
