Still looking for a .550 round ball mold, although a .545 would work

Also try Marty's Arms. He makes them in all sizes. I own 4 of his. Very well designed and made. Good luck.
I am looking at his .550 mold
It is a gang mold that throws 5 balls at a go and at $120 a pop, I really wish Lee made a .550 or .545 mold
I have only used Lyman and Lee Molds and the closest to a gang mold is one I have that throws a conical and a round ball for my .50's
Any pointers on the use of a larger gang mold?
I've poured 1000's of round balls using Lee moulds.@B P Maniac Shooter did a good video on using a Lee gang mould. Maybe he will see this and provide a link to it.

Yep...I never allow the pot to go lower than 1/2" from the bottom. Less chance for foreign objects to enter. You go through lead quick with a gang mould so have things ready and add lead often as you go or you'll run out and have to start the process over.
Yes...I usually have to wait 2-3 minutes if I allow it to get low and add too much lead at one time. Therefore, I'm usually adding some after 75-100 pours to keep the pot at least 1/2 full at all times.I don't bottom pour but the sooner you ad lead to keep the level up, the less temp difference you get when you add.
