recently purchased one of the above (T-C) nearest mold I have is a .535, don't know what the bore diameter is. what could I use for a patch, a piece of carpet? or just shoot shot in it?

.550 with a .010 patch work good too. do a search for .56 renegade on the forum. the members helped me get up and running with mine. good advice is a few key strokes away.

I have 75-80 molds, various RB and bullet. I am trying to break the habit of mold buying as I am getting up in the years and have no one that has my interest in muzzle loading and bullet casting.

I think Rebel gave you good advise, try the .535" balls with a thick patch and perhaps loaded atop a card and fiber wad column. The only way anyone can know is to try it.

Mine shoots four inch groups at 100 yards using 80gr pyrodex, .18 pillow ticking, tc bore butter and a .535 ball. Mighty tight fit I might add.

By the way, that was four inches at 50 yards. I've never shot it at distances greater than about 65 yards.
