yer patch is too thin.
your patch ball combo is .615 and your barrel is most likely .620. if a .610 ball is too much then try a .020 patch.
my general goal for loading a rifle is a patch and ball combo thats at least .005 larger then inside bore diameter (this onley applies to store bought patches). out of my 50 cal i use a .490 ball with a .015 patch, this gives me a total of .505. i tried cramming a .018 patch in there and it required a mallet. the .015 and .490 ball will go in with a short starter.
