Were all of the 1763 Charleville Muskets iron mounted, or did some of them have brass bands? I don't have a photo of my old musket, but it looks VERY much like this one, but with brass bands:

Brass would have probably been used on Sea Service Muskets since the salt air wouldn't rust it like it would iron, other then that I'd rather have iron, I think it looks better. :hmm:
