Hey guys, spent a couple hours today cutting up roofing lead and trimming away the solder, then melted it down. This is all roofing boots and a little sheet lead, that's all that went into the pot. These turned out nice. As usual, I don't know the exact BHN but can say they are nice and soft, don't ring at all on concrete, etc... This is good stuff for sure.

This is 36 ingots with a total of 65.5 lbs. I packed them tight in the box with bubble wrap and taped the box up really good.

$130 shipped USPS Priority to your door within the U.S. PayPal friends and family preferred for payment. Thanks! Justin

I have an idea for you to possibly rate the BHN of your lead to sell it. Look on the internet for the lead pencil test for testing lead BHN.. You buy different hardness pencils and compare them to a lead BHN chart. The first one that scratches the lead is the BHN rating. I think there might be a post on this forum for this?

Thanks @erhunter, I actually do that every time. I just don't mention it on here because when I did before someone gave me trouble about it. It is definitely a good way to get a good estimate, and every time I send lead to my friend on this forum, @mustanger, he confirms with his tester that my estimate with the pencils was pretty much spot on. Thanks man!

Edit- I should add that when I did this tonight, the 6B pencil (softest one) gave them a good scratch so I'm confident in the quality of these.
