Got a 9 point with one drop tine in back yard today. Weapon 58. cal T/C Hawken 90 grain charge of Swiss with Hornady round ball with cabelas pre lubed patch. And I couldnt be happier. Wish I had a camera to share it with you guys but alas I dont maybe I will get one for Christmas.

Congrats and Waidmanns Heil from GE, Bavaria. Which distance did you shot and did the deer run? How was the effect on the deer? Did the bulet came out? Have to know, because I start ML-hunting in GE and now collecting information.

Congrats 58. Nice job.
Are you tagged out or are you able to hunt some more?

I second that. Get the camera and start taking pics. They'er worth a 1000 words after all.

The shot was about 35 yards had complete penetration and he never moved from where he was hit acted as if pallet of brick had been dropped on him. Thats why I love my 58. anything that gets hit with it never gos very far.
