I guess this might be the right place to post this. I was thinking yesterday, for all those that have problems with shipping. Get an apple air tag or galaxy tag -- and there's another kind besides Apple and galaxy -- I what it is though. Put it with the gun. You can see right where it is. Literally.
I know, $30... But, add it to the cost and say that part of the fee will be refunded when you get the tag back. I don't need to go into those details...
I got my galaxy tags after, in an old people moment, I lost my jeep keys and fob. $300+ that the insurance paid, but a real hassle.
The tags will show on your phone where they are at. Also will be able to make the tag beep. I dropped mine in the yard one day. Looking all over. Found them by walking around where I'd been, listening for beep.
Button on air tag will also make your phone ring if you can't find that.
Anyway, just thought I'd share a good way to keep track of a gun (or anything, even a dog) while shipping, etc.
