A friend of mine on the ALR site (Marc) made and posted a new shot pouch that I really liked I sent him a note about it and, in a more than generous exchange on his part, I am now the proud owner of said bag. I told Marc that, in keeping with some shooter's habit of setting up a bag, horn, and complete kit for each rifle, I wanted to pair his bag with a rifle I built 6 years ago and a fairly plain silver mounted horn I did some time back as well. Here is the result.....I thought I would share this with all of you as well. Thanks again to Marc and Merry Christmas to all.......

Steve,

The nor tip is turned black horn. The base, cascabel, and spout plug are all turned ebony. The base and throat collars are sterling silver. The cascabel is threaded and unscrews to fill the horn.

That's like "military intelligence," not sure you can have, "fairly plain," and, "silver mounted," together. Especially not at the level of work you do.
Marc makes great stuff, I've enjoyed his posts on the ALR, heck of a friendly guy too.
That all comes together very nicely.

That's a work of art!!!
