The weather here has been terrible, snow, rain and wind. So I thought I would work in the shop some. This is my first peace of plunder. I filed a whitetail antler for a spout, used an old dog lease for the strap, the leather is from an old purse I found. Turned the stopper from a piece of ebony I had laying around sewed it all up with waxed linen thread.

I think it has to much of a curve, came out kinda Mideastern looking. Also making pick and brush sets and a couple of short starters. Will post pics later.

I like that curved shape! Ought to ride a lot more stable on the shoulder than straight snakes.

Gotta ask how much shot it will hold, though. In my experience, it doesn't take much weight at all for narrow shoulder straps to cut into shoulders. They tend to roll up as you move around and get even skinnier.
