I like the French and Indian war. I am of German decent. Would it be posible for a german to have a french fusil. Like TOTW's Type "D"? And has anyone built a TOTW Type "D" or a Fusil De Chasse? And Please let me know if these are PC.

There are some pics of a French hunting fusil I built from TOW parts in the back posts of Gun Building Forum about a month or so back, Tom or Henry will probably chime in with a great deal of historical info and the PC or not PC I am taking off in a couple of minutes so I will leave this one to them.

Go to www.historicaltrekking.com and scroll down to "Message Board". Then scroll down to the thread,Davis French "Fine Fusil" Kit. It is still on page one but you might have to go to "older messages" by the time you go there.I think I covered all the bases there and some others posted in.
Tom Patton
