Hi,
I'm trying to install a pedersoli frizzen to replace a missing one on a 3rd model Bess.
My problem is that the frizzen has a #8 hole for mounting, and the lock has a 10-24 hole.
The frizzen is very hard and neither my drill nor a file does any thing to it.
Suggestions on opening uo the hole?
Thanks,
Jerry

You are going to need to soften or anneal that area you intend to drill.

You may be able to do so by creating a 'heat sink' to prevent the face of the frizzen from also getting soft.
