Haven't had a chance to play with it yet but I've gotten a target model 1858 with chambers that measure 0.453"-0.455" diameters at the mouths and 1.298" to 1.310" deep.
The ligaments between the chambers measure about 0.044" in thickness.
Those chambers are almost as wide as a Ruger Old Army, certainly large enough to accept castings from most .45 revolver and pistol molds. As wide as a Uberti Walker. Come to think of it, maybe too large for most molds when the diameter is decreased by the use of soft lead.

:)
There's a 0.465" round ball mold around here somewhere.

Have a pair and 6 spare cylinders. Both will hit inside 2 inch bull at 25 yards all day long.
