So all you folks who like to have the very unique and interesting gun or rifle..., that conversation piece, that is ALSO historically correct....why not have a gun that puts that right lock on the right side, while YOU still use your dominant left-eye to do the sighting?

Seems to work. I first saw a version of the second style when I was a boy, on a skeet gun. The shooter had been in a car accident and had lost his dominant, right eye, so had his best guns restocked so he could use the only working eye that he had remaining. ;)
