I hopped on my scooter last weekend and took a quick trip to Friendship. This is the 3rd time I've gone, but the first time in June and the first time on a weekend.

Had a pretty good crowd in the parking area and campground when I got there.

The creek was deep but in the banks.

I pitched my humble camp in the modern area. Still workin' on primitive gear...

And went on up to the primitive area to see if I could catch up to grzrob.

He was off somewhere shootin', so I went and checked out the museum. Saw the "Guns of the Reel West" display.

Went across the road and checked out the vendors. There was a pretty good crowd.

I did finally catch up to grzrob and manny clatch Sunday morning. Couple real nice guys. Meant to go take more pics on the primitive side but never got it done...

You have to watch out for that grzrob... he's a character... :haha:

Yep. :haha: I enjoyed my short visit with him.

He showed me his arsenal that he brought along. That tapered barrel "retirement gun"(next to the bottom) of his is Sweet! He let me shoulder it and it just hangs there where you point it.

(I hope ya don't mind me postin' yer mug here Grizz.)

Would have liked to have seen his Ferguson demonstration, but I had to get back on the road. 832 miles round trip in less than 48 hours don't leave a whole lot of time to kill while you're there. I gotta spend a couple more days down there some time. Just too much to see and do...
