I forgot all about testing some wheel weights after a couple of weeks. It is right at a month now after the first test. I can't find the ingot for the clip on wheel weights.
The stick on wheel weights a month ago measured between .035 to .040 on my Cabin tree tester. I guessed at the time the BHN was going to be about 7 to 8.5 but after looking at the numbers again I am gooing to say I should have said between 5 and 7 BHN
I just ran another test on the same ingot and I got .047 to .052 and the estimated BHN is 8.5 to 9
So the ingot had increased a fair amount in hardness. Thanks buttonbuck for reminding me. When I find the clip on I had I will test it. Ron
