So the other day Amazon had endoscopes on sale for like $12 so of course I ordered one and scoped my muzzleloader barrel as soon as it arrived. :)

I have a nickle plated CVA so most of the barrel looked about like what I'd expect--shiny.

Anyways, fun toy. I just wish the image quality was better. For the cost of a bore light I guess it beats that though.

Weird glowing dot. Fuzz from patch maybe?

The breach plug is interesting. It looks like I've beat it to death with the rod checking for empty.

Interesting, square sections towards the bottom though. They are about in the right place for where I seat at 50 grains and at 100 grains. So maybe I just had a spit lubed patch in there or something at some point. I can't feel the spots when I run the patch up and down.

Zonie let me know that the pictures were not showing up properly so here is a second try at it:

I had mine done week before last :shake: If I had to get it done more often than every 5 years I'd have a quick connect installed..lol :shocked2: Good Luck with yours mine was a good report.

Don't forget to take your barrel along with you.

Maybe they will take a few photos for you?

:rotf: :rotf:

They say a proctologist spends most of his day looking into someone else's business.

The irony is, they pay him to do it. :shocked2:

You can increase the quality of the picture by poking a patch down the barrel with the camera. Then back the camera out and take the picture. After your done taking pictures on the barrel take a patch remover and pull the patch and take a picture of the bottom. These pictures are some I took of a friends rifle that had a bullet struck.

This was after I cleaned it.

Good trick Idaho. I noticed it didn't take pictures well if there wasn't something to reflect back.

Eric, your camera does work much nicer. Which one off ebay did you get?

Thanks for the info; I've started doing my own colonoscopies since I got one of these :eek:ff
