This is quite an interesting pistol because it has a short (9") 12mm rifled barrel and military style fixed ramrod
The Percussion lock is clearly locally made and has a makers name that translates as Abd al-Rahman. I can't make out the signature on the barrel
Another peculiarity is the crude inlay on both ends of the barrel which has thin gold bands and fancy work in what is appears to be Platinum as like the gold it has never tarnished, How unusual is Platinum or is it perhaps white gold?
