Ok,
Here are the long awaited pictures of the gun sock that my wife made for my GPR "Old Friend". For those of you who haven't seen the previous post, my wife wove the fabric from Llama and sheep wool.

The gun sock is just what I wanted and fits "Old Friend" just right!

What I didn't exect is that my wife made a small possibles bag from the remaining fabric. The bag doesn't have any straps yet, I'm debating whether to put leather staps on or braided straps. My wife has a braid loom on loan and she wants to try here hand at that.

I gotta put "Old Friend" in his new sock and take him out to the range. See ya!

Thanks Snagg, I think she is pretty talented too. The range box is an old hand made chest that I renovated into my range box. I have some more pictures of it on another thread:

You betcha! I learned my lesson too. I'll use my brass range rod and keep the new wood one for when I trail walk and hunt and stuff...

I love your new gun sock, it looks great. I've been looking for one for "Jacob."

-SHOOEY!

Hey thanks Shooey. I'm lucky to have a wife who is talented and willing to weave me a cover for "Old Friend". Otherwise, I would have had to purchase one. I've seen some gun covers for sale at Dixie that look pretty nice...
