Friend gave me a original bag from the Bristol/Pemmiquid region of coastal Maine. I carefully made up a set of patterns and winged it a bit on the straps.

The horn was from a set that a trader Pal had for sale for years. Old and ugly...Nobody would bite. Some days you just need a challenge. :doh: :doh:

Any rate, I slightly flattened the horn to get it to hang tight to the bag. Kinda made it in a Abenaki type horn..simple yet elegent.

To much talkin' :wink:

Easier access. And it still works as well. But it does make the bag left or right handed. The one shown is a right.

Thank you. I thought that might have been the case, but did not know. That's interesting.
