Hello, I found and signed on to this wonderful site on 12/10/04. I have 2 flintlocks a (TC .50 Hawkin witch took a nice buck after Christmas 2yrs ago) and a replica trade gun (for rondevous) I want to turkey hunt with and now I'm getting ready to deer hunt here in PA on the 27th. This will be a friends first time hunting this late season, he got me hooked on rondevoues and now I'm getting him into hunting with our guns. I posted a question on the 10th and no-body answered. I wondered if I did something wrong or if I just needed to introduce myself. Thanks again for the great site and also I got my screen name from reading Allan Eckerts books and how the Indians referred to Lewis Wetzel as deathwind and or the man whose gun is never empty. Because he could load it on a full run. Im really not some psyko killer. I'm 45 and my son who is into flinters now is 20. My rondevous friend and his son who we took hunting for the first time last year is 24 & 53. So 2 new PA flintlock hunters!Oh we Live in Hampton, north of Pittsburgh. Go Steelers!
